RELIEF ASSISTANCE AND DONATION FOR VICTIMS OF THE NATURAL DISASTER IN  INDONESIA

In light of the major earthquake and tsunami tidal waves taking place in Indonesia ’s provinces of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam and North Sumatera , the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia has received numerous expressions of sympathy and offers of relief assistance to the victims of the above mentioned disaster. The Embassy extends its highest appreciation and welcomes initiatives rendered by the Slovak people as well as diplomatic communities in Slovak Republic .

For the time being, the victims urgently need, among others, the following items:

-          Food, including instant food and baby food

-          Body bag

-          Drinking Water

-          Generator set

-          Medicines

-          Blankets

-          Tents

-          Cotton

-          Mosquito nets

-          Water buckets

-          Clothes

-          Mattresses

 

Donation and contributions could be directly delivered to the National Coordinating Agency for Natural Disaster and Refugees Relief (Bakornas PBP). It is advised to have the list of items legalized by the Consular Division of the Embassy of Indonesia (Tel. 02/ 54419886).
