1. Introduction
The Government of the Republic of Indonesia will be organizing Special ASEAN Leaders’ Meeting on Aftermath of Earthquake and Tsunami in Jakarta on 6 January 2005. The conference will be held at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Jakarta, Indonesia.
2. Accreditation
Accreditation is required to representatives of recognised media organisations assigned to cover the event. Freelancers should provide a letter of assignment endorsed by their respective agency with their application to be submitted together with the registration form.
Application forms along with a letter of assignment from the Editor/ Executive of the Media and two current coloured photographs (3 X 4 cm) should be returned to the Media Secretariat by 4 January 2005.

On-site registration will be opened at 10.00 am on 5 January 2005 at the Media Secretariat at the Jakarta Convention Centre.
Accreditation badges will be also available at the Media Secretariat. The Accreditation badges must be worn at all times.
3. Media Pool
For covering the Opening
and Closing Ceremony, Photographers and Cameramen will be given access to
enter the Conference Room. However, due to limited space available, Media Pool
arrangement will be applied. Others may observe or follow the event at Media
Center, in which CCTC will be provided.
4. Media Facilities
The Media Centre will be in operation on 5 – 6 January 2004. Selected documentation, including statements, speeches, press materials and announcements will be available at the Media Centre.
The Media Centre will also arrange press conferences, press briefings, and statement by official spokes-persons.
The Media Centre
provides computers with internet accesses as well as an internal telephone
line. Media booths are available at the user expenses as well as local/ long
distance/ international pay-phones.
5. Accommodation
The media representatives will be responsible for their own travel arrangements, reservation and payments of hotel accommodation.
6. Media Booths
The Media Center provides media booths at a first come first served basis. The booths are available at the user expenses as well as local/long distance/ international pay phones.

7. Customs Clearance Requirements
The lists of equipment should be legalised by Indonesian Embassies/Representatives for importation and exportation purposes.
