The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Bratislava to commemorate one year of Tsunami will hold presentation of film regarding the latest development on rehabilitation and reconstruction in Aceh and Nias, on March 29, 2006, in Bratislava. Deputy Chairman of the Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Agency (BRR) Aceh-Nias will lead a team from BRR to disseminate the information, accompanied by the official of the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.
Disseminating of the latest development in Aceh-Nias is intended to express gratitude of the People of Indonesia to Slovakia who has gave the much needed assistance and contributions for the reconstruction and rehabilitation process in the damaged Aceh and Nias. It also serves the purpose for public transparency of what the Government of Indonesia has been done and is currently doing, through BRR, in managing fund contributed by the International community for redeveloping the Tsunami-affected areas in Indonesia.
Foreign dignitaries in Bratislava, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic, NGOs in Slovakia, Slovak Red Cross, donators and media are expected to attend the commemoration.
