Issue Stamps between the Republic of Indonesia and the Slovak Republic,
The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Bratislava in cooperation with the Slovak POST will hold a ceremony for the Joint Issue Stamps between the Republic of Indonesia and the Slovak Republic, on September 27, 2006, 18.00 at Slovak POST, Large Conference Hall, 4th Floor, 35 SNP Square, Bratislava. This Joint Issue Stamps is the first to be conducted between the two countries, and Slovakia is the first country in Europe with whom Indonesia has Joint Issue Stamps. On the stamps there will be the famous figure of the Indonesian and Slovakia Traditional Puppet. The Wayang (Indonesian Puppet) figure of Semar is on the Indonesian stamp, while Slovakia stamp shows the figure of Gašparko. Dignitaries from Ministries, Corps of Diplomatic and Media in Slovakia are expected to attend the Ceremony. During the Ceremony, Indonesian traditional dance and music of Angklung will be performed along with the delicacies of Indonesian traditional food. The same event will also be held in Bandung, Indonesia, on September 27, 2006. the Indonesian Minister for Communication and Information, Mr. Sofyan Djalil together with the Slovak Ambassador to Indonesia, H.E. Mr. Peter Holásek will open the Ceremony and sign the Commemorative stamps in Indonesia.
